That knife looks amazing. I am going to copy you on my new Strider.

However, how about some more details. What grade sandpaper? For how long? What brand diamond paste and for how long? Did you take the knife apart? Did you do the whole blade or just the first 3 inches?

The knife made a part.
It is first 3 inches to have polished.
The sandpaper from #600 to #2000.
The diamond paste is #60000 from #3000.


Anyway, I only polish a blade patiently!:thumbup:

I have polished hardware on one of mine smfs that I sold long ago. Here is the pic. I really like how yours turned out, well done. Do you think it could be done with some green compound or would it take much longer.

The blade to polish with diamond paste after having done groundwork processing enough is faster.
I tried green compound, too, but did not go well.
