Strider SNG vs SMF

I have a SMF and it's an awsome knife! I guess I'm one of the ones who likes Striders, but, it doesn't quite fit my hand :( I'm wondering if the SNG is smaller
in the handle? Has anyone handled both? I really like the SMF, but I think I might need a smaller handled one. Help me out please! :D
 
It is the exact same knife just shrunk down about 1/2 an inch. If the SMF is too big the SNG will suit you fine. If that is too big the PT will be good for you. That is the great thing about Striders. They are built for all types of hands.
 
The handle on the SNG is considerably smaller. There dies not appear to be as large of a difference in pictures as there does in person. The SMF just looks too big to be a practical choice for my needs where the SNG looks just about right I know others who live the size of the SNG and find it to be perfect. As stated above there are several options in sizes to suit each of us. Sort of like they planned it that way huh?

I believe the sizing works like this...

The SnG is 10% smaller than the SMF and the SnG is 10% bigger than the PT.


If you wish I can take a picture of a SnG and SMF side by side.

As I suspected, the SnG might solve the problem! The thing I don't like about the SMF is the back part of the butt of the handle doesn't fit my smallish hands. But, if I see this correctly, the SnG handle is more narrow, and the back shouldn't press into the pad of my palm as much. This is great because I really like the SMF,(people who knock Striders must not have one! :D ) it just doesn't quite fit my hand. Hopefully the SnG solves the problem! P.S. Thanks for the pics!
 
There are no problems with Striders. It's obvious that the problem is with your hand. Perhaps you need to consult with an orthopedic surgeon to see about getting that fixed. :)

Just kidding of course. The SMF seems just a bit too big to me as well. I can't wait until the recurve SNGs come out. Then I can get my first Strider.
