I've finally consolidated my collection and looking for make a big purchase of a higher end Hard Use overbuild knife. My considerations so far are: Emerson Super Commander, Strider SMF, Grayman Satu.

Obviously price is a consideration. I could probably get a super commander, and still have enough money for a ZT too for the same price as a Strider or Grayman. but quantity is not that important really.

Strider for sure! You get a problem with a strider you send it in and they fix it... period! Most folding Knives develop some kind of blade play and need to be tweaked and strider has one of the best warranties i the business. You break the tip or chip the edge they fix or replace it! People that hate on strider didnt take the time to send it in or get a special tool to tighten the pivot themselves.

Hinderer Xm-18 is my favorite hard use knife, But I like my Striders too.
If you're on a budget ZT551 is a very sturdy knife.

My vote goes to Strider. In addition to the reasons Popsickle mentioned, they have superb ergos and are surprisingly light for how big and tough they are.

I'd go Strider just for the various selections in blade steel, grinds, scales and warranty.
