Strider WP? Early fixed blade ID help – no steel marking, SOCOM logo

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here can help me identify and verify a fixed blade Strider knife I own.

- It has the "STRIDER" stamp on one side of the blade.
- The reverse side has a US SOCOM-style logo, but there is no steel type marking.
- The knife has a black paracord-wrapped handle and full tang construction.
- No serial number or production year visible.
- It came with a Kydex sheath and TEK-LOK, which I believe is original or period-correct.

From what I’ve researched, this might be an early WP model, possibly from the early 2000s. But I’m not entirely sure.

If anyone is familiar with early Strider fixed blades, especially WP variants, I’d really appreciate your thoughts or insights.
Thanks in advance!

That is the Strider logo, not SOCOM related. From the looks it is real and from the early 2000's as you say. Not an expert by any means.

Thank you all so much for your helpful insights!
I wasn’t completely sure about the ID at first, but your responses made things much clearer — MFS seems like a strong possibility.
I really appreciate everyone taking the time to share your knowledge.

If it's okay, I may ask about a few other Strider knives in this same thread later on. Thanks again!
