is this possible? I know that the striders are set up for their own wrapping style, but has anyone tried/ succeeded in wrapping the stiff kiss strider-style?

I tried on mine, but the holes are not set up right-- too small if I recall. I ended up wrapping mine like they show on the CRKT website or in the catalog, and I've been pretty happy with it. Great little knife.

I did. Stabbed myself in the process, but that's another story.

Josh, what do you mean about the holes? No holes are necessary for the Strider wrap. It's one layer of plain wrap, followed by the wrap-twist, wrap-twist...layer. I actually only did the wrap-twist part. I like it, it adds some palm swell to a very thin handle, but in reality the handle is too short to hold well. It's better now, not perfect.

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera or a scanner.

Don't you need to tie it off somehow? It's been a while since I've seen my stiff kiss--my wife has it somewhere-- but I seem to remember having trouble passing the ends of the outer wrap through the bottom hole to tie it off and make a lanyard. Guess I could have taken the core out of the paracord.

Oh, that hole. yeah, you may have to work it through. I use small climbing cord, more colorful than paracord and more choices of diameter.
