The maker forums need to have moderation affiliated with that maker. ESEE used to have a very lively and most excellent area here but being a small company, they just could not keep up with the moderation here and also moderate a forum they started on their own website. Probably a mistake as I was always on their sub-forum here but never bothered to go there. I suspect Strider is the same way. From time to time, the leadership of this or that maker goes off the rails and frankly loses their place because of bad behavior on the part of the maker's people or the members on the forum. I know of one case where it was the former. Ugly bit of business.

I speak generally. I cannot say (and am not saying) why Strider does not have a forum here...only why any given maker might not have one.
