Well I finally got around to buying myself the Strider knife, and I am very pleased!

Ive already had it outside trying it out and it really holds up great. This knife makes my old Benchmade CQC7 seem like a little girls knife in comparison!

FWIW, The only thing I would have changed if I could would be to have the clip screws screw into the liner also (I am aware of the inserts, but Id like to have both)

I would also like to have had the Strider/Buck stamp like on the blade, also on the clip. I know...Picky picky!

BTW, I just got my Dec 2000 Knives Illistrated mag and on the cover it has listed under Knife Review..."Buck Striker" Oh well, they got close!

Keith,

Thank you for the review, have you read the thread on filleting a tank with your Strider/Buck?
Don't tell anyone, but there are a few more Stider/Buck knives on the drawing boards right now.
Take care,
