Hi Joe and CJ,
Would Buck rework the bead blast finish and restore the forward edge blade sharpness to my Strider? If so where can I ship and how much/what form of payment can I expect?
Also who is this Pete fellow and how can I contact him about customized Bucks.
What do you think about the automatics being made by outfits like Cumberland Mt.?
I have owned about 5 different Bucks and loved them all. My personal favorite is my 110V Damascus Blade w/stag antler handles and nickle silver bolsters. Only wish it had a nice thumb stud to assist on the opening. Or can you imagine a nickle silver pushbutton and coil spring fired auto conversion. WOW!
Couldn't sell for under 500.00 at that point!
Also congratulations on the article mention about new products in the current addition of Blade magazine. I love the Damascus straight blade with the rosewood handles? I can't remember the model number or name but, will it be available soon?

P.S. I haven't posted in a long time so that is why I may be asking some pretty lame questions!

I am not sure if an auto buck is appropriate for this group because I'm new. I purchased one
for $129.00 and was rather disappointed. There way a great deal of play in the blade.
I can open any good folder as fast as an auto
and don't have to worry about it beng legal.

I'll check out the web site. I know what you mean about the legality issues surrounding auto's but they just facinate me and I don't really carry them as a practice.

I'd still like to hear from CJ or Joe about the restoration of the tip of my Strider?
