I was hoping someone could tell me where to keep a look out for NEW strider knives? I know a lot of people don’t like strider, but I really like the style and was hoping to pick one up. I’m looking for either a SMF or SMF tanto with tiger strip on the blade.

Thanks

Best bet is probably to keep an eye out on Arizona Custom Knives. They add new knives every weekday.

You'll find them come up on the exchange here quite often, wouldn't take more than a week for one of the newer models to turn up.

So many other knives in that price range. Full customs, even. Enjoy whatever you decide to buy.

If looking for new, they are listed on Mick Striders web site. I believe you can get notifications by signing up for the newsletter.
You can also goggle Strider knives for sale and you will get a good idea of dealers that sell them. They don't seem to be making large batches, so it may take a bit of work to find what you want.

I’ve also heard they have a sub forum/group on Fakebook where people post pics and occasionally buy and sell. I don’t have a Fakebook account but my wife does and she has seen it

Something like that-either facebook or instagram. I don't use either, so not sure which

You may want to check TNK ... they seem to have a few knives in stock when other places are sold out.

Go to the Mick Strider Custom Knives website and sign up for his newsletter. Then go to the old Strider Knives website for a list of his dealers. Strider only does small production runs now, so if you want one that's not previously owned, you'll have to watch and wait.

As others have said, the BF exchange is good for previously-owned Striders, but you'll probably still have to watch and wait for a good deal. Sometimes the prices are pretty high.
