Hello
I see a few of people striking out text. (line running through middle of existing text)
How?
Thanks in advance

This starts it. [ strike ]

And this stops it. [ /strike ]. The brackets go directly against the words inside them, rather than with a space in between. If I removed the spaces, you couldn't see how it's done.

Or you could just quote the post in question and see how things you don't understand are done.
Can't tell you how many times I've done that so I didn't feel like a dumbass dumbbell. :)

Just an interesting sidenote: If you use the code [plain][/plain] around code you want to remain visible for demonstration purposes, then you don't need to do the space thing...

E.g. [s]If not for the "noparse code", this line would be struck out.[/s]

Yes, I'm a nerd. :D

This is very useful Mark. Thanks. Wish I'd known this. Your illustration was much better than mine. The spaces I inserted can be confusing.

My wife was trying to figure that out last night. Glad I caught thus thread, thanks.

Where are the rest of the codes like this? For changing font sizes and colors for example. Is there a cheat sheet somewhere that I can print off?

Thanks

Syn
