I am considering purchasing a used striker hammer. I read a thread a while ago about the American importer going out of business. If I were to break something or have parts wear out, is there a source for these and or customer service? Any info would be great.

Thanks

John

I see there is a company in Qubec Canada that is importing Striker hammers;
Machineco.com I have not dealt with them.

John, I should add, if the price is right and the hammer is close, you should consider it. Seems most folks who bought Strikers were happy with them. They look just like the other Chinese hammer, so maybe parts interchange?

Thanks for the info, I just emailed them and will report back.

Don,

The hammer is very close, a fairly reasonable price and I have tried it out, however I agree, if there is not a source for customer support and parts, I am leery.

The Striker and Ang Yang are very similar but not identical. Have you tried the dealer in Sacramento, CA? Is this the one going out of business? I had to buy a few parts for my 55lb Striker when I got it and went through the Sacramento dealer to get them. I love my Striker and hope I can still get parts when the time comes.
