That's most elegant indeed Gerhard. Great lines to this piece and very nice detail work - the shaped and textured integral bolster and the neat little butt cap insert in particular.

Elegant came to mind immediately. And it is hard to be elegant without being beautiful and "put together" as we say in the Deep South. As in, "Wow, she sure is put together nice"
Craftsmanship is outstanding.

phenomenal. You make some of the best looking knives I've ever seen.

I believe "simplistic elegance" describes this piece quite well as you have created a very beautiful and elegant piece without great embellishment.

I hate to use the term "best ever", but don't know that I've ever seen a small integral that I liked more.

That sure IS elegant Gerhard. It is a beautiful sculpture that is a knife!

Thanks for showing it,
Peter

thank you all very much for your kind words,
I`m glad that you like this little knife!

@ kevin,
thank you for your statement- this means a lot for me!
this ´simplistic elegance´ is, what I`m after with these little integrals:
-flowing lines, some details, visible for a close second view, no more embellishment-
that´s my ideal...

best regards
gerhard
