I did some striper fishing in GA today and my buddy and I caught 18 small Stripers/hybrid striped bass. They were small but really good eating fish. We caught them at Clarks Hill Reservoir near Augusta.

Ive caught a few hybrids. They are fast and strong.Never that many , nice going.

Good catch! My Dad, uncle, cousin, and I used to fish for those in the spring/early summer at night under coleman lanterns. It is non-stop action if a large enough school moves in. And you're right, they are very good eating.

The best fishing I ever had was when the stripers came in while I was in Alabama last year. Very fun to catch and very tasty.

 Dang nice haul. I never catch them like that here in Ohio. Only on trips to Minnesota, man I need to go back up there.

My buddy and his friends went out again today and caught 38 of them. They said it was non stop as soon as you put the poles in the water the fish hit the herring. Fishing is fun when its non stop action like that.
