Striping a Waki, anything special I need to know?

Ive striped and applied a satin finish on many knives over the years but never anything from Swamprat. I have a Waki that I think I will tape off the handle and strip the blade finish. Anything special you guys think I need to know before I start on her? Thanks for any advice.

You don't need to tape the handles. Ive never used a stripper that hurt micarta. Also, alot of swamp rats have horribly uneven finishes under the coating. Be prepared for one side of the blade to be perfectly satin and the other to be covered in dimples.
