Stripped and Polished CGFBM ?

Anyone stripped a CGFBM and polished the flats and spine leaving the CBT's murky. I think it would make for a cool combo !

There was a pic kind of like that. I had intended to do something similar, strip the blade, leave the dull grey in the grooves and do a home satin job on the flats. Just haven't got there yet. But I did strip the NMFBM yesterday.

what about a bead blast ( double cut) and polished spines !!
Anyone done that ?
