First I used a paint stripper then went went to some scoth brite attachments for the dremel.

Ended up using some sand paper, not very good but it works.

Then I went ahead and sharpend it back up.

I used the sand paper and mouse method.

Started with 120 and went all the way up to 1500

Hey bro...... Dont be afraid to thin that sucker out some. Knock the those edges bevels WAY back! Go a head make it EVIL>>>>>>>>>

When I read your post, I thought ---oh no. BUT---That turned out really nice!! Does work like that affect the value of the knife? Good job, Waffle.

The hardest part was scrapeing off the coating after the paint stripper was let set. I had to do that about 5 times to get it all off. that took only about an hour and a half.

Then using the scotch brite attachments took about 45 mins (wasn't really neccesary)

And lastley using sandpaper on the blade took only about 30 mins.

And yes I'm sure it effects the resale value quite a bit. But I don't have to worry Kuz she's a user.

If ya ask me, I'd say that she looks... "waffled"!!! LOL :D:thumbup::thumbup: I like it! Looks GOOD in satin!! Nice work, and thanxx for posting pix! :)

I actually don't think it will affect the value too much (especially as a user). I would rather buy one some one has stripped than one that has the coating partially worn off......save me some work and elbow grease.
