I just posted about stripping a SR-101 Active duty. I liked the raw finish on it so much I decided to strip my Battle saw and leave it with that raw, competition/industrial finish look.

I am happy with the results, but it is not done quickly. I think it took around 6 hours to strip and then I decided it needed a razor sharp edge which took another 4 or so hours but the final results came out great!!!! It is scary sharp!!! I put a refined working edge on it using only diamond stones which I think came out looking great!!! The DPS is 19 and 18.5 at the tip, which was just under the factory edge. The weight of the blade alone will take off all leg hair in one pass... it is extremely sharp!!!

I might have to do that with mine. The hammered silver coating is pretty, but it's so thick and slippery, I just don't see how the saw teeth could have much bite.

Looks great, with the tooling marks and dimples it reminds me more of a movie prop instead of an actual blade. The first thing I thought when I saw the blade is that it looks fake almost lol. Nice job though. I have not stripped mine knowing stripping around those teeth will be tough. Its on my list though.

She came out GORGEOUS!!!!!

LOVE all those great INFI dimples!!!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks everyone!!! I am really excited about it!!!

As far as the teeth on the spine, I think they will still have enough resistance on them to still bite into wood and not bee too slippery, if not its nothing a quick file wont fix to give them a little bit more of an edge.

Thx again!

I have no clue what it is called.

I was not much of a fan of the color at first and on the black coating, but on the naked INFI I think it looks really great! I like the G10 color mo betta now :D.

That looks great! What is that handle color called?
