Got everything off with a Scotchbrite pad and decided to just do mustard instead of more vinegar.

You can still slightly see the engravings.

I'm MUCH more pleased with how it turned out this time.

What kind/brand mustard did you use?

@Rick, Just plain old Frenches. I left it on for around 5 minutes (maybe more, maybe less, I judged by my eye whether it was ready to come off) and washed it off using hot water. Slight rusting got wiped off with a Scotchbrite pad.

Thanks. Have a Scotchbrite pad close by because it rusts slightly even at 5 minutes in my experience.
