Stripped Clip

Hi All:

I have two Emersons, a CQC-7 Wave, which I love, and an older smaller Em that I can't remember the model #... that older Em I have a question about... I had it clipped inside my left pocket and I sat down in my car. It snagged on something and I managed to completely strip the clip screws out of the handle. Can anything be done to fix this?

Are the screws just stripped or are the actual threads on the Ti liners stripped ?
The latter is a slightly harder fix than getting new screws.
 
The actual threads are stripped... the holes are noticeably bigger in the handle now. I really did a number on it...
 
Yup, STR is a good bet for a fix, he knows his stuff.:thumbup:

It looks like you will just have to re-tap the handles and get some
new screws, that's not going to be a huge problem so it's all good.

After the stripping, that's when I upgraded to the CQC-7 Wave. And man I love it. I keep the clipless wonder in my carry bag but i'd like to eventually give it to my son after I get it fixed.
