If you fancy a coated blade and plan to strip it yourself then you've saved some money and labor. :)

Labor isn't cheap.

Some have them stripped by knife makers and people that don't do it for free.

Some people actually like an un-coated blade.

Good knives don't really depreciate.

Don't like it? Don't buy it.

Booyah.

THat is a hundred percent my opinion as well, I have a couple of stripped knives and time equals money, so you won't catch a break on price on a stripped knife. Beside that alot of people are happier with a stripped knife, I have a Regulator and a TOPS Anaconda that are stripped, and both are cooler for it.

i see,im new to the knife thing. i can see if a pro strippes it, but some one doing it their self on a busse just seems silly.thanks

sometimes you just can't find the uncoated version of the knife you want, so I think it's pretty cool to try to strip it by yourself, or get pros do it for you.

but if someone fked up the job and want to get rid of it and still want to get the full price from it, that's uncool.. :)

It would be silly for anyone to pay a "pro" to strip a knife when it can be done in a few minutes with common chemicals.
