etched the name before stripping then sanded afterwards



this was done a few months ago and then I thought I have to try the scales. I ordered the scales last week
and here it is now...


Handling the 14 with the scales is a lot better than the cord wrapped.
......I still have the extra set of scales so I'm thinking of getting another 14!:D
 
Nice job Elrond. Looks great. I had my 14 wrapped as well (different method to the way yours was done) and then I got some scales for mine (TKC G10). The difference was unreal. Made it so much better in the hand. Hey if you're gonna get another one, go for the 24. Same shape but in D2. Keep it up bro, awesome work..

I went with the 24 for 3 reasons ...
1 - D2 steel
2 - already 'stripped'
3 - found great deal, priced the same as 14
