hello! so i have a para 3 and a PM2, the pm2 has a stripped screw for the lockbar and the back spacer. both of them with the free spinning i couldnt get it undone. the Para 3 has a stripped pocket clip screw. any tips on how to remove these? i called spyderco and ordered a new clip for the para 3 and got screws for the PM2 and i asked the guy what his tips were to get them out and he said to get a larger torx and hammer it in til you make a bigger shape and then you should be able to get it out.

stripped aside any tips for getting the free spinning lockbar and back spacer out? i couldn’t get it for the life of me, even with pliers. (mind you this still has the factory red loctite on it) also.. how to get the scales off the damn lanyard hole? i havent tried the freezer but i might in a bit.

This happened to me before on the pivot screw of a PM2. The red locktite they use is the issue

Send it back to Spyderco for repair. That’s what I did and they sent it back fixed within a few weeks.

Yeah you might want to just send it back, breaking that loctite loose for the first time takes a fair amount of torque and trying to brute force it with a larger torx driver isn't a guarantee. Next time make sure you have a good set of Wiha bits. You could try it but I'd heat the screws up with a soldering iron first, but if you don't mind the wait I'd just send it back to Spyderco.
