I've had several Rats over the years, but I've never owned a "Battle Rat" until recently. So, I stripped the newly aquired BR and also stripped my RMD and took them out for a little action earlier today. I don't even have the words to describe how incredibly awesome the BR is to hold and use. It's light, excellent ergos, and it unquestionably dishes out the heavy metal thunder and lightning... I think what impressed me the most was how easy it could perform smaller tasks. I do believe the BR could very well be the "do it all" blade. For those that own one, you know what I mean, for those that have never owned or had the opportunity to use one, it is well worth the effort and money to own this kick ass blade!

Great shots man! How did you go about stripping the blades? Paint stripper & sand paper?

Thanks a ton snwbrdr202. I just used stripper and nothing else. It chopped great today, even though I didn't put it through exhaustive punishment. I'm actually thinking about having it convexed, but for now, it performs amazing!!

Marc great pics brother! Now ya have me wanting a Battle Rat!

Mike, I've been searching for a Battle Rat for a few years and just finally scored one. I've used several choppers over the years, but since I'm inching toward 50 years old, many bigger blades give my arthritic hands fits, but the combination of ergos and lighter weight on the Battle Rat really allow me to enjoy this blade tremendously. Mike, this is one gem of a blade to add to your collection. And, you can always sell it back on the exchange if you aren't thrilled with it (or you can give me a holler cause I could use a back up Battle Rat...:D).

I love user pics!
Thanks for these.
I will have to head out into the KY wilderness sometime in the near future and have some fun. Those Rats look right at home in that setting.
