I'd always planned to remove the coating from this knife once use dictated it. I jumped the gun a bit on that, but oh man! The underlying finish on the steel is beautiful.

I used Citristrip and an old steel dish scrubber, then a nylon bristled wheel on my drill to get around the guard/handle scales. It took about an hour.

The tgulb is my favorite of the Busse like. The balance, weight and cuttyness of it is perfect.

One of those knives that just works for me in every way.

Glad to see the steel under the coating is so clean.
 
Thank you all! The etch did come out really well. There's still a little decarb on the fuller, but I like it the way it is. Apprecite the feedback :):cool:
