I've had some luck removing a stripped hex screw, by wrapping some scotch tape around the hex bit, then applying very FIRM downward pressure while turning to unscrew. Do it SLOWLY, making sure not to let off the downward pressure. The tape wrapped around the bit sort of molds itself into the recess in the head, and provides a little more traction for the bit. Hopefully enough to get it moving. If need be, try the same thing with an oversized bit, if the head is more severely stripped.

with this kind of tool.

it's commonly called "queue de cochon" in french or somethng like screw extractor

Just send Kershaw's great customer service an E-Mail, they should send you a new set of screws free of charge.

If it is not recessed, another method I've had success with is to slot the head with a dremel's cutoff wheel, then remove it with a standard screwdriver.

k i just told them through the contact us tab on their web site. not sure if that emailed them or what? how long do they take to respond usually?
