So inspired by gleason128's stripper TGLB thread, and Rob Stanley's ASHBM/TTKZ thread which was inspired by MadMarkie's squiggly line ASHBM thread......lol.....I decided to strip my TTKZ. Also took some pics of my TG (TGHB) and 1311 I stripped a while back. I used Klean Strip then sanded the remaining. The TTKZ and 1311 got 60 grit treatment. The TG was 200 grit I think. The 1311 is starting to look almost satin. I love it.
Nothing like a good stripper to bring some excitement back into a dull relationship.

All my users are bare steel! Well done! :D

AGB, that stripped TGLB with the custom scales may aesthetically be the coolest looking blade I've ever seen. Just awesome. Congrats, man.

Oh yeah, those came out nice.
That 1311 looks like a completely different knife with the coating removed.

Those are fantastic... especially the stunning TG! Makes me want to buy more coated blades to play with....

My favorite project to date! :)

It started off with a tanker gray topcoat, ca. 80% intact...It's seen some fairly heavy use

I am especially proud of the etched logo :D...if you squint hard enough you can even make out Jerry's name on the dogtag! :p

I really enjoy sanding and polishing my strip jobs...It's really zen & therapeutic to me-- how about you guys? :)

I still got a few details to work on around the pommel and choil and last I'll top it off with a couple coats of FrogLube.

Check out those dimples...OUTSTANDING stuff that INFI...

THANKS JERRY, GARTH, BEEF, POKEY, LEXI & ALL OTHER BUSSE FAMILY FOR MAKING OUR LIVES A LITTLE RICHER WITH YOUR KNIVES!:D
