Has anyone ever stripped there Esse Jungalas ???? If so how hard is it to remove the coating ???? Post Pics.if you have them.

It's super easy, man. Take off your handles. Apply stripper of choice(make sure you are wearing heavy chem resistant rubber gloves!) and let it sit for a few minutes. Wipe off all the loose mess and hit any stubborn parts with a small wire brush. When fully stripped wash with soap and water and allow it to dry. Pop those handles back on and you are ready to rock. You may need to re-sharpen. Good luck!

this is a lot easier, and just about as cheap as my way which was sanding, just use the sripper

Yep, that's how I strip my beckers. I was just wondering if the coating on the Esse knives was harder to remove. As so as the knife arrives I'll soak her with stripper and clean her up. Thanks
