Stripping a stamped BK-5

Now that it's a bit warmer I'm planning on stripping the Beckers I got over the winter(3,4,5) and I have a question for you guys. In the past I have had the laser etched versions so I deepened the etch with the electro-etching process. Is there any reason to do that with the stamped 5? I plan to strip all but under the handle so the logo will be stripped, is it imprinted into the blade enough to not be an issue or should I electro etch it for good measure?

Just strip it, no extra steps needed if its stamped.

Yep, just strip it.

The stamp is so deep, some of the coating will remain even after stripping.

inconceivable!

and pretty impossible unless you strip in and then repaint the metal minus the inside of the stamping
