Stripping an old Tekna dive knife...

..kind of new here and not a real knife guy but have recently added an Endura Wave, RC-3P and Citadel.

I'd like to strip an old Tekna of what appears to be powder coat on SS. It seems like a really potent chemical stripper like Permatex Gasket remover or swiping some of my wife's ZipStrip might do it.

Appreciate any tried and true chemical methods that have worked for you.
