stripping belt clips

No concerns , easy hour or so project if you want to take your time.

This is how I would (and have) do/done it.

Grab your correct Torx (of course :D ) and take off your clip , make sure to not lose those screws or you will be screwed :D

On that knife I might leave the screws black but if I chose not to I would take my vise and double thickness duct tape the jaws so as to not mar your steel , I would open them up just enough to put the screws in so that the heads are visible. Then I would polish those with some 600 then 1500 then Flitz , done on the screws.
Same procedure on the clip , the paint comes off easily , you can use any one of a dozen methods , I just heated mine up until the paint more or less cooked off then used steel wool for the rest , next up was polishing with sandpaper , you can do the same on your cross slot screw.
If you leave the Spyder logo black on the clip and the inner slots on the screw black , it makes a nice contrast.
So you need a few sheets of varying grades of paper , a vise , some polish such as Flitz and some time.

Please post pics when you are done.

Yes, I like mine in satin finish, not polished, that way the scratches you will pick up don't show.
