Stripping busse with G10..just a question

Has anyone tried stripping a busse with g10 via the usual paint stripper method? I am talking about black g10 in particular. I had an ak with the aluminium but wasnt confident enough about the effect the stripper would have so sold the ak in the end. Would paint stripper melt/discolour g10 (especially black)? Anyone got an example of where paint stripper was used on a busse with g10? thanks....
 
I stripped my FBM w/ black G10 and there was discoloration. I don't have any pics at the moment, but the black faded to a super dark gray and made the layering more visible. Similar to micarta, the scales darkened back up with use from the oils in my hand -- not quite back to the black it was, but close.

Looks better, IMO.

Added: Here's a pic showing the Black G10 FBM. It's not a close up, but you can see that the scales are no longer true black. Toward the blade, you can see an area of G10 that hasn't darkened up again from my hands.
