Stripping the new blade coating

Hey guys, looks like I picked the right time to come back into the fold. I see the new beckers have a different kind of coating on them, and as cool as it does look, I'm pretty sure my new shorty will be getting a full strip down. I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with the blade coating being used, and if paint/furniture stripper will remove it.
