Stroll in Prague

Well, since I saw you guys showing your trip photos in this section, I thought I could show you where I've been today. I live in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and this trip can be taken not more than 15 km from the town centre. I'm sorry for the poor quality of the pics, but my girlfriend took my camera for backpacking trip to Romania with her, so now I can shoot with my cheap cell phone only :o
Anyway, here we go:

Really great pictures from a cheap cell phone! Awesome scenes. I found an area like that on the Chattahoochee River once. I a;ways wondered what it was about but never worked up the nerve to go see.

That's a Vipera berus, the common European adder. It'll give you a nasty nip but outside of toxic shock they're rarely a problem. I've watched with some amusement as one took several goes at the bottom of my boot. Haven't seen one here for more than a year. Lovely things.

Mc_Graber - Northwest Ranger. I had one of those. Had to take the serrations of fbut I thought that was a rather good little knife. First time I've seen one here.

Like the stump in the water pic. My inner child makes me want to climb on top.
 
That is great quality from a cell phone! Cool pics, makes you wonder what is on the other side of the fence, doesn't it?

I bought it 11 years ago, still serves me well. I'm thinking of removing the serrations, too - never needed to use them, instead they get in the way sometimes...

The snake is already identified and as for the girls, you better google some youselves, gentlemen. There are lots of better pics on the web than I could ever take ;)
