Stronger tip? 520 Presidio or 551 Grip or 552 Ritter Grip

Only grip I have at home is a mini and a HG, was wondering which has a more stout tip based on blade geometry. If anyone has pics for comparison it would be appreciated.

I think it would be a tossup. In fact, I think if you are worried about breaking the tip of either you should use something other than a knife. ;)

Presidio. Thicker blade, and the shape provides a more supported tip. It's one of the strongest folder shapes minus the reverse tanto.

It actually looks like a toss up between the Ritter and the 520. I have all 3 mini versions here. The Ritters have a slightly thinner blade than the 520s do, but they have a bigger belly, so the amount of steel at the tip may be pretty close. If you're in the market for a folder and you like the Presidios but are concerned about tip strength, you might want to look at the Bone Collectors. Those are Presidio-styled frames with D2 blades that are pretty thick all the way out to the tip.
