Strop - Bridging the grind gap

I have read some threads, but it was never crystal clear to me (for whatever reason) so I'll ask it here. I think I already know the answer, but I've been wrong before.

Will a loaded strop with compound benefit any knife regardless of grind? If so, go get yourself a strop! :D If not, why?
 
it all comes down to the bevel.

regardless of grind; hollow, flat, convex, etc, the actual cutting edge is always flat/convex.

the "grinds" are just how you get the steel thin enough at the edge to cut, then the bevel is what actually parts the cut material.

a strop works on everything.
 
I've read dozens of threads commenting on your sharpening service. Not one has been negative with all the them saying either "wicked," "scary," and/or "shaving" sharp. When it comes to this kind of question, yours is an opinion that I respect very highly.
