Just purchased a Large leather strop made by stropman, to maintain my convex edge, I'll post pictures of it when it arrives next week!

Anyone else have a stropman strop?
 
Have two strops from stropman. They aint bad. I hate waiting a month for a strop I coulda made myself in a couple days though. Giving one as a gift for Xmas. I would avoid the white compound he sells. I cannot get to to stick/absorb in the leather. Get the black and green.

I know, I've bought the white it is very hard to apply, I bought the Black & green compound.
I like the quality of his work so I don't mind waiting, if it supports his small business I'll be happy.
 
I have the large. I like it. That and my knives plus strop. I hold the compound over a burner on my stove to heat it up a bit. It's much easier to apply then.
 
I have the strop man with the double sided ten inch I believe.
I run the black on one side and the green on the other for a finer polish after removing the burr with the black.
It has been atleast six months and I have used it daily.
Top notch product from a great guy.
Gotta love it.

I use my stropman every day. I have recommended his stuff numerous times to friends and family.

Just an Update It arrived in the mail today and it is gorgeous in Ebony woods, the 30 days is worth it.

My feelings exactly as well..I just paid for a 4 STROKE strop but apparently they're backordered until April. I have no doubt the quality is amazing, the customer service as well and it'll be great when it arrives but waiting possibly 30 days for a product I've already paid in full is a bit like how people advise not to pay full deposits for custom knives. A product should be put 'out of stock' on their site as well as Ebay site if there isn't available stock available immediately.
