Stropping angle help (Mongo will be thrilled)

So, I got a negative response when I mentioned applying a Sharpmaker to a Bark River knife in my "Gift blade for a hunter" thread, so I've now broken out a strop and started fiddling with it. (FWIW, I'm thinking of buying a fixed blade for a hunter, and leaning strongly towards BRKT)

So, the question I now have is ... what angle do I hold the silly thing at in comparison to the angle on a flat ground edge? For example... say I have a knife that's got a 12.5ish degree back bevel, and a 15 degree edge. Would I hold this at 15 degrees from the strop, or at a slightly different angle?

The strop I have is the wood-mounted Lee Valley strop with the green abrasive.

As long as we're talking about it, I saw another thread where a guy put on three bevels with his EdgePro (a pseudo-convex edge), then used a strop to round off the corners and finish it off. That probably the fastest non-power way to convex an edge?

Thanks in advance!

Yep. that link explains it pretty well. But I do something a little different, I strop fast and hard, to mirror polish the entire bevel, and then strop lightly on the edge for the SPOOKY sharpness. Makes it look better, and cut through thicker materials easier.
