Stropping compound

I have been using the same chromium oxide compound for both regular steel and super steel knives. I am still on the same “crayon“ that I have been using since my first strop from I bought in early 2010s from the big South American river. Recently I was gifted the edge pro and tried their tapes, and easily got a mirrored finish. I was looking at the edge patterns and wondered if diamond compounds would give me similar or better results. I have 3 supper steel knives I use regularly and was wondering what would do better. The Polishing Strips, the green compound or diamond Compound.

Is there a big difference in the emulsions like Gunny Juice or Stroppy Stuff or Jend?

I have a wittler in 1095 (or 1085) from Boker that I have polished up to the 6000k polishing strips on one blade and up to .5 micron STROPPY stuff on another blade. The strips look more refined, but I am waiting on a .25 micron emulsion to come in from Gritomatic Gritomatic to see if that will change much. Next weekend I hope to have some time to make big sticks into smaller sticks to see how each blade performs.

Right now I am using leather strops, but I am also making some balsa strops to see what difference that makes.

I currently have the 1 micron and . 5 micron here, with 6 micron and .25 micron on order. I went with STROPPY Stuff beca use Gritomatic Gritomatic had all of those in stock.

I use the Venev Diamond Stropping Paste for my strops. I have the 14 micron on rough leather and 3 micron on smooth leather. They work great on super steels like S90V, Magnacut, CPM Cruwear, Elmax, etc. I prefer a more aggressive, toothy edge on my EDC stuff. I also got some of the 40 micron and 1 micron stuff for the strops to see how those work, but I rarely go sub micron. I have some sub micron stuff from years ago (sprays and emulsions) I got for straight razors, but haven't used them in years.
