Hey everyone new to the forum and need some advice. So i have had a few folders Buck Vantage small, Kershaw Skyline, Spyderco Persistence (i only have the Persistence now) though i never sharpened any of them so i just ordered a Spyderco sharpmaker its coming in the mail...so we'll see how that goes but my question is i also intend to strop whats a good strop and compound to just touch up the blade instead of grinding the metal down on the sharpener? Ive seen the belt strop and the strops on the wood blocks do you put compound on the leather belt strops? Also sharpening on the strop im afraid of getting the angles wrong and dulling the blade how do i tell what angel is right? thanks for the help.
