stropping w/compound after 10k chosera w/epa

I have an edgepro with the basic stones, no tapes. I was thinking about getting the 5 and 10k Choseras. I was also thinking of getting a new stropman strop with red and green compounds to replace my homemade w/brkt compound.

I am wondering though if there is any point to stropping after using 10k stone. I put micro bevels on. It seems the grits from stropping compound to stones would only marginally better.

The 10k chosera will leave a very nice edge especially from the EP where you will be getting the most out of it.

Personally I don't see the need to finish to such a fine level but it will be a impressive cutting edge. You can keep going if you like but the only thing that is going to get better is the shine.

Forget the red and green and mauve and turquoise so-called compounds and buy decent quality CBN or Poly-diamond compounds of KNOWN grit size.
