Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago before going away on vacation.
Decided to have the handle re-wrapped, blade polished and the stand built before delivery.
Got these from Stuart the other day - FedEx isn't nearly fast enough when you are waiting...

I have no training or any need for a sword for that matter BUT...
It is breathtaking, don't you think? (his view from the deck doesn't look too bad either)

Thank you, Stuart

You are very lucky. That is a worth possessing and wonderful

Classy to the hilt. If I ever get rich-ish I'd like to own a Branson katana. And a wak to go with it!

Since after ten minutes of admiring your new blade from the kashira to the kissaki, I still can't summon the vocabulary to describe how much I like it, I'll just say beautiful and congratulations. Mike

I hear ya on the "no need" but that never stopped me!!! :D

That's a superb display and I'd love to have something like that myself....congrats.

Michael, that's a wonderful piece. Truly glad for you--and a little envious. :) Some of my favorite knife photos have been taken on that porch. Would love to see a few more close-up pics.

you are a fortunate dude. It's an amazing piece that any appreciator of the genre would be impressed by.

Wonderful piece Michael huge congrats

Love the Color choices and the last two Katanas I've had done where the same in color
