Greetings all,

I recently sent three knives to Stuart that were in need of sheaths and got them all back yesterday. VERY nice work indeed. A a unifying theme, Stuart decided to incorporate some aspect of the embellishment on each knife in the tooling of the sheath. I am very pleased with the results.

First up, Farr Camp knife - with the carving and stippling of the handle brought into detail work on the sheath:

Next, a Dan Farr chute knife, with the small leaf engraved on the pins tooled into the sheath:

Finally, I figured this Bailey Bradshaw Grapes of Wrath II bowie would present fitment issues with the close placement of the S-guard on the spine side, but Stuart solved that - and did a great job reflecting Bailey's detailed engraving in the leather:

Really nice work Stuart - keep it up!

I love it! Especially the tasteful addition of borrowed elements. Everything looks great.. Grapes of Wrath package is truly spectacular!

I have never ever seen a sheath maker progress so rapidly from start up to absolute excellence. Bravo!!! Stuart. .......and he is in Canada so Roger didn't have to screw with Customs which is another bonus in itself.

WOW Those are incredible!
Love the way the belt loop on the Bradshaw matches the palm swell.

Great work, Stuart!!!

damn he's good:cool::thumbup:

I wasn't even aware of Stuart's leather skillz. I sure am now!

Stuart would be the first to tell you that Paul has been an invaluable source of help and guidance to him. An example of what makes this community great.

I echo the others, Stuart has the eye for the makers designs. Nothing short of beautiful craftsmanship.

Thanks a lot everyone. Thanks Roger for giving me this chance to make these for some truly amazing knives.
And yes, I can never say it enough but THANKS to Paul for all his help and guidance.

Absolutely superb work......all involved should be very happy and proud of these sheaths and the outstanding results.

:eek:Damn Roger! Three awesome knives and three awesome sheaths. He matched the character of each knife perfectly:thumbup:

Rog, my only complaint is that once again you've forgotten that I'm left-handed, so you'll need to send this one back to Mr. Branson before you give it to me for my birthday. I assumed you'd have this knife ready for me for it, but I guess the leatherwork was what held you up. Ah, well... I'll forgive your lateness, so long as it gets to me soon...

:D
