As a tinkerer, I like to disassemble my Sebenzas. I just took my newest apart for it's first cleaning. The lanyard pin was firmly stuck in the presentation side of the knife. Not a huge issue as I intend to leave the lanyard on this one for awhile. However, at some point I will want to take the pin out. Any ideas on How I can push the pin out without maring the anodizing?

I was thinking along the lines of driving it out with a dowel pin, but I don't know if the wood would damage the finish or not.

Wood would. Isn't the English language interesting.

I used the tool that comes with all CRK's to remove a LP that was tight a couple of days ago. The LP was silver tho.

I think the LP looks cool in the empty hole instead of just a hole in the scale. I don't use/like lanyards.

I found a different LP, that didn't come with a large 21, to fit tight in the LP hole of a large Damascus that I use.

I would imagine it's already going to have scratches on the end of it from being stuck in there so tight already. It more would bother you, you could put a piece of rubber tubing over it and then use pliers to twist it out.

Or you could take the advice of MreeceC. That will work real nice. Give that seb some character marks.

How are you going to pull the lanyard pin out with pliers if the LP is flush with the scale:confused::confused:

What kind of pliers are you using..............

Just know that I was kidding! I am sure there are some way smart dudes that will give you some wisdom!

I would stick a long paracord on that pin, get a good grip on and pull... this would be the only suggestion I can think of without involving any pliers....
