I'm looking to get a 80$ or less folder that is no assisted and has around 3.5-4 inch blade length. Only issue is I tried all of the popular suggestions just to be unsatisfied and sell them off.

Cold steel lawman voyager small espada. Spyderco stretch endura delica. Kershaw blur and knockout. Benchmade griptilian, axis lock didn't suit my tastes I know it's strong and all that but it just wasn't for me. The biggest issue I'm having is I just plain don't like lock backs, not going to go and try to explain it so I can have people insist I'm wrong it's just a preference.

Any other suggestions?

Have you looked through retail websites or manufacturers websites to see what items are offered that meet your criteria?

I mean it's not the designs I have a problem with it's the designs I like have a lock I don't. Loved the voyager design don't like the lock love the sog spec elite design don't like that lock. I want a liner or frame lock due to useage and my inability to safely work a lock back one handed especially the triad lock.
 
It just takes practice in many cases. Learning the trick of a specific knife, not just a model. Try the Rat1, it's a liner lock and has a long blade, plus it's under $40.
