stud vs pocket clip

recently got a pat crawford perfigo w/the clip and the stud for carry, i ended up just taking off the clip and going w/the stud, carry it in waistband about even w/the second belt loop, really works well, i thought it would poke ya in the gut, but it doesnt, and talk about quick to draw!! it screws on either side, and protrudes about 3/8" or so, and catches on your pants to hold it in place, only con so far is remove it(knife) before taking your pants off, lol, or ya drop the knife

anyway, a good idea, have never seen another folder w/a stud like that, wonder why more folks dont use them, i bet if ya tried it ya would like it.........anyone else ever tried this carry method??

just wanted to add, it works MUCH better than i thought it would, it really is a good idea imho

It works even better with large fixed blades. It's one of those things that you don't realize until you actually experience it.
