Hi folks, I want to let anyone that would be interested in taking classes know that we have opened a new teaching facility in Seattle WA. With the help from some friends this new blade smithing and blacksmithing school is up and running and looks fabulous. if you would like to get any and all information on upcoming classes, you can sign up for emails at http://76.163.11.137/classes.html
Just to tempt you, in Sept we will be holding 3 classes one is a Slip Joint Class with Mike Vagnino on the 3rd-5th, the other is a Fixed Blade forging class with Jason Knight in the 17th-19th, finally a basic Blacksmithing class on the 11-12th. The school is well tooled up and classes are filling fast.

You guys are getting it done.
The mini-show, the new multi-maker marketing concept at Blade, now an independent forging school.

All this helps in keeping the industy moving forward. :thumbup:

lookin forward to it!:thumbup::D

I'm sure as anything that time spent at your school will advance the student's understanding of all 'smithing functions and greatly reduce the learning curve. Your enthusiastic and patient manner will be a great aid in that education.

I wish you the best of luck, but don't think you will need those well-wishes, as success is virtually guaranteed.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Thanks All And STeven next time your in seattle to see your friend stop by to check it out

Hey David,
Is it possible to see pics of the shop online? I'm really excited for you guys and especially for all of the students that will come through. What an amazing opportunity.
Blessings,
Mike

Looks great Dave, I just signed up for the email notifications. Perhaps I could make it out that way some day...

Mike give me a few days I will but together a shop tour it will be after this weekend. Eli we would love to have you in a class. I really do hope that some of my forum mates take some classes so I can meet them.

Hey guys when Dave gets the pics up be sure and notice the abundance of brand new KMG's, forges, anvils and hydraulic forging press . I saw the area during Dave's blacksmith swap meet a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. This is a very complete learning facility. Anyone having a desire to learn bladesmithing or general blacksmith work would do well to schedule a class there.
