Stupid Oiling question

I got a Wetterlings hatchet last week, sharpened the bit, then oiled it w/ mineral oil. I decided to work the mineral oil into the haft. Now, realizing that mineral oil doesn't really dry, is this going to mess things up for me when I get around to finishing the haft w/ Danish oil? Brain fart.

Mineral oil has been used as a dilution for other oils. Because of this, you will most likely need to spend more time rubbing the Danish oil into the wood as well longer drying time to counter the effects of the mineral oil.
