And I like Rat's pronunciation tips but not nearly as much as the examples the comedian used in the reply I posted in the other thread. And unlike Rat, the comedian has the decided advantage of sharing Jerry's last name.

Rat is correct. According to Dan Busse, Jerry's brother, the family's last name is pronounced:

BUS-see

And that settles that.
