i am going to order a badger atack this morning. this will be my third busse.

i have been far removed form the knife community for a long time about 9 months.

i was just wondering if Busse offers a military discount. i highly doubt it and certainly dont expect it, but i a cant help but wonder.

Thanks to anyone who answers this dumb grunts question.

Thanks to the hogs for keeping this forum active and to the main man Mr. Busse himself for giving us all something to drool over.

I would call the order in if you can, that way you can ask them at the time you place your order.

I believe they do, but I'm uncertain how you would do it online

:D:D

Thank you very much. i must admit that i am shy about calling in orders. although i understand that busse has great customer service in that regard.

but it seems like calling in the order is the way to go.

thanks again.

I think that they do offer a discount for active military. Not certain, though.

I suggest waiting until tomorrow and ordering by phone. They can answer your question and I don't recall any provisions for a discount for on-line orders.

it makes sense, and i am most definatley active duty. awaiting my R.I.P slot as we speak. im hoping to go to the 3rd ranger Bat if i make it through but they are 150% overstocked on 11B's like me so i could be cut on a whim. :(

Either way ill more likely than not be in iraq or afghanistan within about 6 months at the most.

On a side note Mr busse hurry up with that folder. i hate seeing all these soldiers with OTHER (shudders) folders. :)

Don't be shy, young man! It's like talking to your sister...one you like (OK, possibly your mother for someone as young as you).

Seriously, they are good, down to earth people. And they will enjoy hearing from you.

BTW, after you've done your 20 or (in my case) 30, you'll lose any shyness you might once have had.

Also BTW, there are no 'dumb grunts.' I know you don't mean it -- but we don't want to confuse the civilians. Stay sharp and stay safe -- come back in one piece.

You haven't talked to Amy, yet?

You won't believe her. She's a trip:thumbup:

Everybody's great at the shop.

Your quite correct, the dumb ones are weeded out very quickly.:D

Thanks, i plan on it. i still have alot of stuff I need to do with my life.

Thanks again.

I called the shop over the period of time which i should have eaten lunch :D

They do indeed offer a military discount.

I got to talk to Amy.

She is indeed a great person to deal with.

I will definatley be phoning in my future orders.
