HOW DO I STOP FLIPPING IT?!

:P

Gotta say, I was not expecting it to be this good. A little over $30, I was expecting it to be a backup of a backup, or just stashed away in a kit. Wrong! The slim, aesthetically pleasing profile combined with addicting flipping (this is my first flipper) has made it in my EDC rotation.

American made, great price, great little knife. I dare say it may be enough to hold my flipper fix until the 0560 arrives :D

EDIT: what kind of tool do I need to remove the screws on the clip?

Yes — this is one of the best knives that has ever been made!

I have been reading all of the positive threads about it on this forum and bought one a few weeks ago.

I was about to come in and scream heresy! but now I see what this is about.

The Skyline is such a simple design but is one of my favorite favorite favorite knives.
It's light, thin, great blade shape, just the right blade thickness, and simple with no a/o to fail or anything complicated.
It's the sharp equivalent of your basic black crowbar. I just hope that Cabela's exclusive is up soon so that the fixed blade will be more widely
available and available at a better price or that Cabela's would at least put them up for sale on their website (but they likely drop ship/fullfillment center
so won't ever).
I think they're going to sell like crazy once people get their hands on them and see they are as good as the flipper is.

I don't know if the Skyline was just a fluke or if there was some sort of existential reckoning to strip a knife down to the bare essentials. Regardless, Tommie Lucas
created a really great design. I heard that he is no longer with Kershaw but I hope wherever he is [anyone know?] we'll see some more designs from him. I'm curious what else he'll create.

Ok....good. All is well.

My blood pressure is returning to normal.

Be careful how you title these threads. :p

I'm sure you already know this, but Kershawguy is selling them as blems. So you can also get one that way.

You know, I think I read a post where you said it replaced your umnamzaan. That's what first got me interested in picking it up in the first place. If that was your post, thank you very much!

I, too, am a Skyline flipper addict. I feel your pain.

My finger has been sore for 2 days. Damn Skyline.

Seriously!

Yeah, watch yourself. You don't wanna show any skyline hate around 5.56, he won't have any problem silencing you for it! The only problem he'll have is choosing which of his skylines to do it with. :D:D:D

The pocket clip uses Torx (T-6) screws. To stop flipping it, I recommend you send it to me. That has worked for 100% of the people I've offered the service to.

Yes seriously. I have never had a flipper before a few weeks ago. I had already gotten used to the mark on my thumbnail from flicking the Spyderco's, now this. Oh the tragedy of it all. :)

My first EDC was a flipper, a JYD. I have been hooked ever since. I much prefer the blade profile of the skyline as well as it's lighter weight. One of the best values out there on the used market.

I'd heard a lot about the Skyline, but I put off buying one until I got one in a trade. I hear it compared to the Spyderco Tenacious because it's in the same price range, but now that I have it I must say it's wayyyy better than a Tenacious. You just have to get one to really appreciate it.

I have to say my Skyline has become #1 in my rotation. Thin, light and so easy to carry. And the flipper is just too fun!
